I am a doctoral researcher in the department of French & Francophone Studies at Brown University, where I study political subjectivity in 19th and 20th-century novels. I teach beginner and intermediate French and co-organize the French Theory Reading Group at Brown and Harvard.
I also write short humor pieces for websites like McSweeney’s. On occasion, I write about country music history.
